Our mission is to support British farmers by creating 100% traceable British wool clothing. We pay farmers fairly and above auction prices, champion high welfare standards for our native UK sheep breeds, and protect the land that sustains us. We exist for farmers to value their work, strengthen rural livelihoods, and keep British wool thriving for generations.

Supports our farmers
By choosing certified British wool, we help create demand for a natural, native fibre that supports sheep farmers and the rural supply chains around them.
Naturally responsible
British wool is 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. Wool is part of a natural carbon cycle, making it a smarter alternative to synthetics.
Comfort that adapts
Breathable fibres that naturally regulate body temperature. Warm when it’s cold. Cool when it’s warm. Wool is also hypoallergenic, and antibacterial.
Made to last
Resilient fibres that hold their shape over time due to natural crimp. Naturally fire-retardant and a natural insulator. Performance without chemicals.

On the Farm
Our wool begins on British farms, where sheep are raised to high welfare standards. Farmers care for their flocks and the land year-round, producing strong, natural British wool with integrity and pride.
British Wool depot
The fleece is sent to a British Wool depot, where it is graded, recorded, and prepared for processing. This ensures quality, transparency, and full traceability back to the original farm.
Spinning
The wool is spun in Britain by skilled spinners who transform raw fleece into durable, high-quality yarn, preserving the natural character and strength of British wool.
Weaving
The yarn is woven in a Yorkshire mill using traditional techniques. This creates the distinctive herringbone fabric that is hard-wearing, breathable, and made to last.
Final product
Our final traceable products are then finished with our British wool authentication labels in which you can trace your wool straight back to the farm and region your wool was cared for.
Back to our farmers
For the wool used in our garments, farmers are paid 25p above the auction price. This directly supports our farmers producing the wool, helps recognise its true value, and supports a more sustainable future. We proudly back British farming.
