The British Farms we're working with

Every CLÒ FOLD garment is made using 100% British wool sourced through British Wool, the farmer-owned organisation that collects, grades and auctions fleece from farms across the UK. Each piece carries official British Wool authentication labels to verify its origin.

We pay our growers 25p above auction price, actively creating demand for British fleece at a time when wool is widely undervalued and often fails to cover the cost of shearing. By paying above market rate and committing to British sourcing, we help return tangible value to the farmers who care for the land and livestock behind every fleece.

The farms listed below form part of our verified supply network. This is full supply transparency, from fleece to finished garment.

The Romney

The Romney is a hardy native British sheep breed originating from the Romney Marsh in Kent.

Romney wool produces exceptional woven fabrics thanks to its long, strong fibres, natural resilience and subtle lustre. It creates cloth with excellent structure, durability and crease resistance while remaining comfortable to wear, making it ideal for timeless tailoring, outerwear and classic British tweeds.

Manufactured in the UK

Designed and rooted in Norfolk

Designed in Norfolk and shaped by our Land Led Living ethos, CLÒ FOLD is grounded in the British countryside that inspires it.

Each skirt is cut, constructed and tailored in Norwich, less than 20 miles from our brand’s base, keeping craftsmanship close to home and production intentionally local.

Woven and crafted in Britain

Our British wool is woven in a traditional Yorkshire textile mill, continuing generations of cloth-making heritage.

Viscose linings are supplied from Essex, zip is made in the UK, while our labels are made in Pembrokeshire. Every component sourced within the UK to maintain skill, provenance and accountability.

Finished with British detail

Buttons are crafted by Cotswold Courtney & Co using Irish dairy milk, blending rural material innovation with traditional workmanship.

Our packaging is produced in Coventry, ensuring that from fibre to final delivery, every element remains proudly British.

Look for the Shepherd's Crook

Look for the British Wool Shepherd's Crook mark to know your garment contains genuine British wool. This trusted symbol guarantees the fibre has been sourced from British farms, supporting UK shepherds, rural communities and a natural, renewable fibre with a proud farming heritage.
